06/29/03: dry area out front is becoming a rock garden for portulaca (moss rose) etc.

06/28/03: breaktime :D

06/27/03 I waited too late to take these, but its so nice to sit out here with candles or the oil lamps lit in the lil glass chapel (it is windy tonight, too!)  I am sure I will have better ones this weekend. Todd and I were reminded tonight that were we still in the midwest we would have been eaten alive by mosquitos. Don't miss that a bit. :D

Houston: We Have Tomato! wewt!

It occurs to me, that I live in a high desert, yet I paid for the 75 lbs of sand inside the greenhouse *alone*...those who don't live here might laugh at me... /me shrugs and laughs, too :)

After all the planet MUST have TOMATO! ^~^

Nitro and I go for a little renovation stress relief: 06/19/03

10yards

50 yards (way back there)

The ones marked R are mine and T are Nitro's.

We used Nitro's .40 caliber pistol and he also rented a Kimber II .45 1911

Nitro said for being my first time with big calibers and being both guns are large frame combat semi autos, I did great =)

Next week I get to try out a Taurus .38 Titanium revolver that fits my hand, and might go with him to shoot his big shotgun.

06/16/03 WOOOHOOO!!! Now *this* is more like it!!! :D

/me does the snoopy dance~!~!!~!!!

CARPETING YEAH! 6/14/03

Special thanks to best bud Nitro, whose 1337 skills are without compare. *hugs* (and no, we didn't make him sit in the corner, but I think he and Mr Rikki were glad when I went away for a while...Once again, Nitro saved his life and he doesn't even know it, lol. ;) Time to go kill Mr Rikki in some DAoC. )

That's it for tonite. Maybe...Nope. So here I am back, 11:30, 6/12/03 and only 2 bags of concrete stand between me and carpeting in here, finally!!!!!

I deserve a hot shower and a massage I think. More Tomorrow...if I can move.

7:35 pm and I *hate* what I see above. Then all of a sudden I remember the antique glass block I've been hanging onto for years might look pretty deco here and I wonder how much I have...maybe this will solve my drainage issue with pinache and pizzazz. Taking bets now for the pool that Mr. Rikki (Glenn) will not allow purple rope light underneath to illuminate them....?

Arghhhhh. Somebody's getting tired, can you tell? Still a whole pallet left, this is as of 06/12/03, and my back tells me we are done for tonight.   Oh, and the carpet finally arrived from Lowes. Guess that's next. Stay Tuned.
